Network & Architecture
- Is the PSAP connected to an Emergency Services IP Network (ESInet)? *
- Are i3 core services (ESRP, ECRF, LVF) available to route and validate calls? *
- Is the PSAP capable of receiving IP-based 911 calls in addition to legacy delivery? *
- Are service-level agreements with the NG911 service provider documented? *
Location & Call Handling
- Is location information validated against the Location Validation Function before calls are placed? *
- Are GIS datasets maintained to the accuracy required for geospatial call routing? *
- Does the PSAP meet FCC location accuracy requirements for wireless 911 calls? *
- Is text-to-911 supported and tested? *
Cybersecurity & Reliability
- Are NG911 systems protected by a cybersecurity program aligned with a recognized framework? *
- Is monitoring in place to detect telephony denial-of-service and intrusion events? *
- Are FCC 911 reliability and outage notification obligations met? *
- Are software and firmware patches applied on a managed schedule? *
Continuity & Training
- Is a continuity plan in place to reroute calls to a backup PSAP during an outage? *
- Are telecommunicators trained on NG911 call-handling features? *
- Are call-processing and diversity/redundancy tests conducted periodically? *
