Certificate Scope & Traceability Level
- Is the applicable traceability level (Identity Preserved, Segregation, Mass Balance) documented per product? *
- Are all supply chain actors handling certified product registered in the RA Certification Platform? *
- Is a responsible person appointed for chain-of-custody management? *
Sourcing & Volume Tracking
- Are certified purchases verified against valid seller certificates and licenses? *
- Are transactions recorded and confirmed in the traceability platform? *
- Is the Sustainability Differential and Sustainability Investment paid and recorded where required? *
Mass Balance Accounting
- For Mass Balance, is certified content accounted so outgoing claims do not exceed incoming certified volume? *
- Are volume conversion ratios applied for processing (e.g., beans to liquor/roasted)? *
- Is credit/volume expiration and carry-over managed per platform rules? *
Claims & Labeling
- Do on-pack and off-pack claims use the correct Rainforest Alliance seal and content statements? *
- Are ingredient percentage and mass-balance claims accurately represented? *
- Has trademark approval been obtained before publishing seal-bearing artwork? *
Records & Verification
- Are purchase, sales, and volume records retained and reconcilable during audit? *
- Are deforestation and geolocation data available for farm-level supply where required? *
- Is the organization prepared for RA-authorized certification body audits and unannounced checks? *
