Array Mounting and Roof Interface
- Racking is anchored to structure with flashed, watertight roof penetrations *
- No sign of leaks, staining, or deflection at mounting points *
- Modules are free of cracks, delamination, hot spots, or burn marks *
- Array maintains code-required fire setbacks and access pathways
- Photo of the array and mounting
Wiring and Connectors
- DC conductors are secured and protected from abrasion and UV; no drooping to the roof *
- Connectors are matched-brand and fully seated with no arcing or discoloration *
- Equipment grounding and bonding are continuous across the array *
- Conduit and junction boxes are weatherproof and intact
Disconnects, Rapid Shutdown, and Labeling
- Rapid shutdown device is present and initiator is labeled at the service *
- AC and DC disconnects are accessible and properly rated *
- System placards and directory identify PV point of interconnection *
- Interconnection to the main panel does not exceed busbar/breaker limits (120% rule) *
Operation
- Inverter is powered, online, and reporting production without fault codes *
- Monitoring system shows expected output for conditions
- Deficiencies and recommendations
