- Indoor/outdoor temperature differential at time of survey *
- Camera model and emissivity/reflected temperature settings recorded
- A blower door or HVAC was used to accentuate air leakage
Moisture Detection
- Ceilings, walls, and floors were scanned for thermal patterns indicating moisture *
- Suspected moisture anomalies were confirmed with a moisture meter *
- No active roof, plumbing, or envelope leak signatures were identified *
- Thermal image of each moisture anomaly
Insulation and Air Leakage
- Exterior walls and ceilings show consistent insulation coverage (no voids/gaps) *
- No significant air infiltration observed at windows, doors, and penetrations *
- Thermal bridging or missing insulation locations were documented
Electrical and Mechanical
- Electrical panel and circuits scanned for abnormal hot spots under load
- No overheated connections, breakers, or components identified
- HVAC supply/return and radiant systems show expected thermal patterns
Findings
- Comparison (visible-light) photo paired with each thermal anomaly
- Summary of anomalies, verification method, and recommendations
