Bunkering Operation

  • Is a ship-specific bunkering procedure and checklist completed before transfer? *
  • Is the bunkering safety zone established and controlled with ignition sources eliminated? *
  • Are ship-shore communication, ESD linkage, and dry-disconnect couplings verified before start? *

Crew Competence and Documentation

  • Do personnel involved hold IGF Code training (basic/advanced) appropriate to their duties? *
  • Is the ship's operational manual for the fuel system available and current? *
  • Are drills specific to gas-fuel emergencies conducted and recorded? *
