Roof Drainage

Gutters are secure, sloped, and free of debris/blockage *
Downspouts discharge at least several feet from the foundation with extensions *
No signs of overflow staining or splash erosion at the foundation *

Site Water Management

Swales, drains, or catch basins direct surface water away from the home
No standing water, ponding, or erosion channels observed near the structure *
Window wells and below-grade openings have drainage and covers
Sump pump/subsurface drainage (if present) operates and discharges properly
