Preliminary & Primary Treatment

  • Are bar screens/grit removal units operating without excessive bypass or clogging? *
  • Are primary clarifiers free of short-circuiting, weir damage, or mechanism faults? *
  • Are influent flow metering and sampling equipment functioning?

Secondary Treatment

  • Are aeration basins maintaining target dissolved oxygen and mixing? *
  • Are blowers/diffusers or mechanical aerators operating within parameters? *
  • Are secondary clarifiers free of sludge blanket carryover or mechanism issues? *
  • Is return/waste activated sludge (RAS/WAS) pumping functioning?

Disinfection & Outfall

  • Is the disinfection system (UV/chlorine) operating and meeting dose targets? *
  • Is effluent quality meeting permit limits at the point of discharge? *
  • Is the outfall structure free of erosion, blockage, or damage?

Solids Handling & Assets

  • Are digesters/thickeners/dewatering units operating without alarms or leaks? *
  • Are structural tanks and channels free of significant concrete deterioration? *
  • Are standby power and critical spares available per redundancy requirements?
  • Condition/priority notes and recommended repairs
