Project & Approvals

  • Permit / project number *
  • Is the construction type and occupancy classification consistent with the approved permit? *
  • Are approved, stamped construction documents available on site? *

Structural & Special Inspections

  • Are required special inspections and structural observations being performed and documented? *
  • Do foundations, reinforcement, and anchorage match approved drawings? *
  • Are structural connections and welding/bolting inspected and reported?

Means of Egress

  • Do exit access, exits, and exit discharge meet required width and travel distance? *
  • Is the number of exits adequate for the occupant load? *
  • Are exit signs and emergency egress illumination provided and functional? *
  • Do door hardware and panic/fire exit hardware comply with occupancy requirements?

Fire & Life Safety

  • Are fire-resistance-rated assemblies (walls, floors, shafts) constructed per approved details? *
  • Are penetrations firestopped and fire/smoke dampers installed where required? *
  • Are fire sprinkler and alarm systems installed and tested per NFPA 13 / NFPA 72?

Accessibility

  • Do accessible routes, entrances, and toilet facilities comply with IBC Chapter 11 / ICC A117.1? *
  • Photograph representative compliance/deficiency
  • Inspector signature *
