Safety-Critical Items

  • Are safety-critical items identified and managed? *
  • Is analysis and reporting of occurred events affecting safety in place? *
  • Is communication of these events and training of persons provided? *

Controls & Substitutions

  • Are appropriate controls applied to product and services that could adversely affect safety? *
  • Are safety considerations addressed for any part or material substitutions?
  • Are controls verified as effective before product affecting safety is released? *

Awareness & Records

  • Are persons aware of their contribution to product safety and of the importance of ethical behavior? *
  • Is documented information on product safety activities retained? *
  • Is product safety performance reviewed as part of management review?
