- Flashing at the roof intersection is sealed with no signs of leakage *
- Photo of the chimney exterior and cap
Flue and Liner
- Flue liner is present, continuous, and appropriate for the appliance *
- No significant creosote (Stage 2/3) buildup observed *
- No cracked tiles, gaps, or deterioration observed in the liner *
- Flue is free of blockages, debris, or animal nests *
Firebox and Connections
- Firebox, damper, and smoke chamber are intact and operable *
- Required clearances to combustibles are maintained at the fireplace/appliance *
- Gas appliance connection and venting are proper with no evidence of back-drafting
- Hearth extension meets the required dimensions for the appliance
