Obligation Mapping

  • Have all jurisdictions where the organization places packaging on the market been identified? *
  • Has the organization's status as an obligated producer been confirmed for each scheme? *
  • Are the packaging categories and materials subject to EPR classified correctly? *

Registration & Reporting

  • Is the organization registered with the relevant producer responsibility organizations (PROs) or authorities? *
  • Is packaging placed-on-market data collected and reported by weight and material type? *
  • Are records retained to substantiate reported packaging volumes for audit? *
  • Enter the total packaging placed on market in metric tonnes for the reporting year.

Fees & Eco-Modulation

  • Are EPR fees calculated and paid according to each scheme's methodology? *
  • Are eco-modulation criteria (recyclability, recycled content) factored into fee optimization? *
  • Is the impact of recyclable vs non-recyclable packaging on fees analyzed? *

Design & Recyclability

  • Is packaging assessed for recyclability against Design-for-Recycling guidelines? *
  • Are recycled content targets for packaging tracked and met where mandated? *
  • Are restrictions on certain formats and substances of concern (e.g., PFAS) monitored? *
  • Are reuse and refill targets addressed where applicable? *
