Inventory & Completeness
- Is a current chemical inventory maintained that matches every hazardous product on site? *
- Is an SDS on file for each hazardous chemical known to be present? *

Accessibility
- Are SDSs readily accessible to employees during all work shifts without barriers? *
- If electronic, is a reliable backup and immediate-access method available during outages or emergencies? *
- Do employees know where and how to retrieve an SDS in their work area? *
Currency & Maintenance
- Is the library reviewed periodically to remove discontinued products and add new ones? *
- Are updated SDSs (received with new significant information) added within three months? *
- Is there a designated person responsible for maintaining the SDS library? *
