Roof Covering
- Roof covering type *
- Roof covering meets current product-approval or code compliance (FBC/Miami-Dade NOA) *
- Permit/install date for the current roof covering
Roof Deck Attachment
- Nail type and size used to attach the roof deck *
- Nail spacing at the deck (inches on edge / field) *
- Roof deck attachment level qualifies for A, B, C, or D credit *
- Photo of the deck and fastener from the attic
Roof-to-Wall Connection
- Roof-to-wall connection type *
- Minimum number of connectors observed wraps the wall top plate as documented *
- Photo of the roof-to-wall connection
Roof Geometry and Secondary Water Resistance
- Predominant roof shape *
- Non-hip features total less than 10% of the total roof perimeter (if hip claimed)
- Secondary water resistance (self-adhering underlayment / SWR) is present *
Opening Protection
- All glazed openings are protected to the applicable impact rating *
- Non-glazed openings (doors, garage) are also rated for impact where credit is claimed *
- Opening protection level (A, B, C, N/X) documented for the credit *
- Photo of shutter/impact-rated label or product approval
