Loading Dock Doors and Equipment
- Are overhead dock doors operational, sealing, and free of panel damage? *
- Are dock levelers functioning through full range with intact lip and platform? *
- Are dock seals and shelters intact without torn foam or exposed backing? *
- Are vehicle restraints or wheel chocks present and operational at each position? *
- Are dock bumpers present and not worn beyond the mounting plate? *

Storage Rack Systems
- Are rack load-capacity plaques posted and legible per RMI/ANSI MH16.1? *
- Are rack uprights and frames free of impact damage, bowing, or missing footplates? *
- Are beam safety clips or locking pins installed at every beam connection? *
- Are column guards or end-of-aisle protectors installed in traffic areas? *
- Is anchoring to the floor slab intact at rack base plates? *
Floor Slab and Traffic Surfaces
- Is the warehouse floor slab free of significant cracking, spalling, or joint deterioration? *
- Are floor flatness and levelness adequate for forklift and turret traffic?
- Are floor striping, aisle markings, and pedestrian paths visible? *
- Are trench drains and floor penetrations sealed and unobstructed?
Building Envelope and Clear Height
- Is the clear stacking height documented and consistent with tenant use?
- Are exterior tilt-up or metal panel walls free of cracking, separation, or corrosion? *
- Are truck court and trailer parking pavements free of major failures? *
- Are perimeter drainage and grade away from the dock pit adequate? *
Life Safety and Fire Protection
- Is the sprinkler system commodity classification appropriate for stored materials and rack height? *
- Are exit paths, fire extinguishers, and pull stations unobstructed by racking or product? *
- Are flue spaces between back-to-back racks maintained for sprinkler coverage? *
