Foundation

- No significant cracking (horizontal, stair-step, or wide vertical) in foundation walls *
- No signs of settlement, heaving, or rotation of the foundation *
- Photo of any observed cracking or displacement
Framing and Structure
- Floor structure (joists, beams, girders, columns) shows no failure, rot, or deflection *
- Wall framing and load paths show no signs of overload or displacement *
- Roof structure (rafters/trusses) is free of cutting, sagging, or damage *
- No prior modifications compromising structural members observed *
Crawlspace / Basement
- Crawlspace/basement was entered to the extent readily accessible *
- No standing water, active moisture intrusion, or elevated wood moisture observed *
- Vapor barrier, ventilation, and support conditions are appropriate *
- No evidence of wood-destroying organisms or fungal growth on structural members *
Movement Indicators
- Floors are level with no significant slope or bounce *
- Doors and windows operate without binding attributable to movement *
- Interior finishes are free of active cracking indicating ongoing movement *
