Installation Details
- Property address and charger location *
- Charger level and connection *
- EVSE manufacturer and rated amperage *
- Installation is indoor (garage) or outdoor *
Circuit and Overcurrent Protection
- EVSE is on a dedicated branch circuit *
- Breaker and conductor are sized to at least 125% of continuous load *
- Panel has adequate capacity or a load-management device is installed *
- GFCI/GFPE protection is provided per code and outlet type *
Mounting and Wiring
- Unit is mounted securely at the correct height with proper cord management *
- Outdoor equipment and receptacle are weather-rated (NEMA 3R or better)
- Wiring method, conduit, and connections are secure with correct terminations *
- Disconnecting means is provided where required (over 60A or over 150V to ground)
Function and Documentation
- Charger powers on and completes a handshake/charge session with a vehicle or tester *
- No error indicators, overheating, or connector damage observed *
- Installation permit and inspection sign-off are available
- Photo of the unit, connections, and breaker
- Deficiencies and recommendations
