Roof Drainage
- Gutters are secure, sloped, and free of debris/blockage *
- Downspouts discharge at least several feet from the foundation with extensions *
- No signs of overflow staining or splash erosion at the foundation *
Site Water Management
- Swales, drains, or catch basins direct surface water away from the home
- No standing water, ponding, or erosion channels observed near the structure *
- Window wells and below-grade openings have drainage and covers
- Sump pump/subsurface drainage (if present) operates and discharges properly
- Summary of drainage deficiencies and recommendations
