Roof System Identification

Field Membrane Condition

  • Is the membrane free of splits, blisters, ridging, or open seams? *
  • Is surfacing, coating, or ballast intact and evenly distributed? *
  • Is there evidence of ponding water beyond 48 hours after rainfall? *
  • Are punctures or foot-traffic damage limited and repairable? *

Flashings, Penetrations and Edges

  • Are base and perimeter flashings well adhered and free of separation? *
  • Are pipe boots, curbs, and penetration seals watertight? *
  • Are metal edge, coping, and counterflashing secure and sealed? *
  • Are expansion joints intact and functional?

Drainage and Rooftop Equipment

  • Is insulation dry, with no evidence of saturation on core cut or IR scan?
