Accessible Parking and Approach
- Required number of accessible parking spaces provided for the lot size *
- At least one van-accessible space with 96-inch access aisle and signage provided *
- Accessible space slope does not exceed 1:48 (2%) in all directions
- Accessible route connects parking to an accessible entrance without steps *
Entrances and Doors
- Accessible entrance provides at least 32 inches clear door width *
- Door hardware is operable with one hand and no tight grasping/twisting *
- Door opening force and closer timing are within accessible limits
- Required maneuvering clearances at the door are provided *
Interior Accessible Route
- Accessible route maintains at least 36 inches clear width throughout *
- Ramps provide 1:12 maximum slope with handrails and level landings
- Protruding objects do not reduce required clearance along the route *
- Elevator provided where vertical access is required between levels
Restrooms
- At least one accessible restroom/stall provided with required clear floor space and turning space *
- Grab bars provided at the water closet at required heights and lengths *
- Lavatory, mirror, and dispensers are within accessible reach ranges *
- Photo of restroom accessible features and any deficiency
Signage and Elements
- Permanent room signage includes raised characters and Braille at required mounting location *
- Service counters provide a lowered accessible section where sales/service occur
- Drinking fountains, where provided, meet accessible reach and clearance
