- NBI structure number *
- Date of inspection *
- Cable system type (cable-stayed, suspension, tied-arch hanger)
- Is a cable inventory/numbering plan referenced? *
Cable & Sheathing Condition
- Are stay/main cable sheathing and wrapping free of cracks, splits, or UV degradation? *
- Are suspender ropes/hangers free of broken wires, kinking, or excessive corrosion? *
- Is there evidence of water intrusion or staining at sheathing terminations?
- Are cable dampers and cross-ties intact and functioning?
Anchorages & Sockets
- Are cable anchorages (deck and tower) free of corrosion, cracking, or leakage? *
- Are socketed/swaged terminations and wedge plates in sound condition? *
- Is the dehumidification/corrosion-protection system (if present) operating within parameters?
- Are anchorage drainage and inspection ports functional?
Towers & Saddles
- Are tower saddles and splay/spray zones free of cracking or corrosion? *
- Is the main cable free of band slippage at cable bands?
- Are cable band bolts intact with no evidence of loss of tension?
Assessment
- Were any broken wires or advanced corrosion locations identified? *
- Is a specialized rope-access or wire-break survey recommended? *
