Cable Tension & Continuity
- Are all cables intact, continuous, and free of broken strands or splices failure? *
- Is measured cable tension within the temperature-corrected specified range? *
- Recorded cable tension (lbf) at reference span
- Are cable-to-post attachment clips/keepers present and functional?
Posts & Foundations
- Are line posts vertical, undamaged, and seated in sockets/foundations? *
- Are post sockets/sleeves free of cracking, corrosion, or soil erosion?
- Number of posts damaged, leaning, or missing
- Is the median grading free of ruts or erosion affecting deflection performance?
Anchors & Terminals
- Are end anchor assemblies and foundations sound with no cracking or movement? *
- Are turnbuckles, load cells, and anchor rods intact and corrosion-free? *
- Is impact/reset documentation available for prior damage events?
Actions
- Is re-tensioning, post replacement, or anchor repair required? *
