CM Planning
- Has a configuration management process appropriate to the product been planned and implemented? *
- Is a configuration management plan documented and maintained? *
- Are CM responsibilities and authorities defined? *
Configuration Identification
- Are configuration items identified, including their attributes and baselines? *
- Are product configuration baselines established at defined milestones? *
- Are as-designed, as-built, and as-delivered configurations distinguishable and recorded? *
Change Control
- Are changes to configuration items controlled through a formal change process? *
- Are changes evaluated, dispositioned, and approved by authorized personnel before implementation? *
- Is customer/regulatory approval obtained for changes when required? *
Status Accounting & Audit
- Is configuration status accounting maintained to record and report the status of configuration items and changes? *
- Are configuration audits (functional and physical) conducted to verify the product conforms to its defined configuration? *
