Asset Data & History
- Is pipe material, diameter, and installation year recorded? *
- Pipe material *
- Number of documented breaks/failures in the last 5 years
- Is the main's soil corrosivity/environment classification on file?
- Date of assessment *
Leak Detection & Loss
- Was acoustic leak detection or correlation performed on the segment? *
- Were any active leaks identified? *
- Is non-revenue water for the district within the utility's target?
- Note leak locations and estimated severity
Structural & Corrosion
- Where exposed/inspected, is external corrosion (graphitization, pitting, tuberculation) within acceptable limits? *
- Was remaining wall thickness measured or estimated (electromagnetic, transient, or coupon)?
- Is cathodic protection, if present, functioning at adequate potentials?
- Estimated remaining wall thickness at worst location (percent of nominal)
Hydraulic Performance
- Is system pressure within regulatory minimum during normal and fire-flow demand? *
- Were hydrant flow tests used to estimate available fire flow?
- Is the C-factor/carrying capacity consistent with expected values for the pipe age?
Findings & Prioritization
- Is the segment assigned a likelihood-of-failure / consequence-of-failure risk score?
- Is the segment recommended for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement?
