Panels & Disconnects
- Is at least 36 inches of working clearance maintained in front of electrical equipment? *
- Are circuit breakers and disconnects legibly labeled to indicate purpose? *
- Are unused openings in panels and boxes closed with covers or plates? *
Wiring, Cords & Equipment
- Are flexible cords free of damage and used only as permitted (not as fixed wiring)? *
- Are grounding-type receptacles properly grounded? *
- Is GFCI protection provided in wet/damp locations and for temporary wiring? *
- Are junction boxes and outlets covered with no exposed live parts? *
Safe Work Practices
- Is de-energizing and LOTO used before working on electrical equipment? *
- Where energized work is unavoidable, is an energized work permit and arc-flash PPE used? *
- Are only qualified persons permitted to work on exposed energized parts? *
Signage & Access
- Are high-voltage and 'Danger' warning signs posted where required? *
- Are electrical rooms and equipment secured against unauthorized access? *
