Scorecard Metrics
- Are supplier quality performance metrics defined (e.g., PPM, defective lots, rejects)? *
- Are delivery performance metrics defined (on-time delivery, premium freight)? *
- Are responsiveness and corrective-action metrics (e.g., SCAR closure time) included? *
- Are scorecard weightings and rating thresholds (e.g., A/B/C classification) defined? *
Data Collection & Review
- Is supplier performance data collected at a defined frequency (e.g., monthly/quarterly)? *
- Are scorecards communicated to suppliers with the performance results? *
- Is supplier performance reviewed as an input to management review?
Escalation & Controls
- Is there a defined escalation process for suppliers not meeting performance targets? *
- Are controlled-shipping or containment requirements applied to poor-performing suppliers as needed?
- Are re-evaluation and re-approval criteria applied to underperforming suppliers? *
Supplier Development
- Are suppliers prioritized for development based on performance, risk, and criticality? *
- Are development actions (audits, training, joint improvement projects) defined and tracked to closure? *
- Is the effectiveness of development actions verified through subsequent performance data? *
