Planning & Requirements
- Is the customer quoted/required production rate (parts per hour/shift) documented as the target? *
- Is the run-at-rate performed under normal production conditions using production tooling, equipment, and operators? *
- Is the required run duration (e.g., 1-8 hours or a set number of parts) defined per customer requirement? *
Rate & Effectiveness
- Was the actual demonstrated rate measured and compared against the quoted rate? *
- Was overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) — availability, performance, quality — calculated for the run? *
- Demonstrated rate achieved (parts/hour)
Quality & Yield
- Was first-time-through quality / scrap and rework recorded during the run? *
- Did product produced during the run conform to all specifications and acceptance criteria? *
- Were bottleneck operations and cycle times evaluated against takt time? *
Logistics & Disposition
- Was packaging, labeling, and material handling verified at the demonstrated rate? *
- Are corrective actions defined if the demonstrated rate or quality did not meet requirements? *
- Was the run-at-rate result approved by the customer where required for PPAP?
