Impartiality & Confidentiality (Cl. 4)
- Are laboratory activities undertaken impartially, with risks to impartiality identified and managed? *
- Is information obtained or created during laboratory activities managed as confidential? *
- Is the laboratory structure defined with management and technical responsibilities and authorities? *
Resources & Competence (Cl. 6)
- Is personnel competence established, including education, training, and authorization records? *
- Are facilities and environmental conditions suitable and monitored where they affect results? *
- Is equipment calibrated, and is metrological traceability of measurement results established? *
- Are externally provided products and services controlled? *
Methods, Validation & Uncertainty (Cl. 7)
- Are appropriate methods selected, verified, or validated for the intended use? *
- Is measurement uncertainty evaluated for calibration and, where relevant, testing activities? *
- Where sampling is performed, is a documented sampling plan and method used? *
- Is the validity of results assured through quality control and participation in proficiency testing? *
Reporting & Management System (Cl. 7-8)
- Do reports include the required elements and, where applicable, statements of conformity with the decision rule? *
- Is nonconforming work identified and controlled? *
- Are internal audits and management reviews conducted per the management system requirements? *
