  • Are verification activities (e.g. incoming inspection, source inspection) defined to ensure conformity? *
  • Do controls address externally provided processes remaining within QMS control? *

Information for External Providers (Cl. 8.4.3)

  • Are requirements for products, services, processes, and equipment communicated to the provider? *
  • Are requirements for competence and qualification of persons communicated where applicable? *
  • Are control and monitoring of the provider's performance, and verification/validation at their premises, communicated? *

Performance Monitoring

  • Is on-time delivery performance tracked? *
  • Supplier quality rating (PPM or % accepted)
  • Are nonconformities escalated to the provider with corrective action requests? *
  • Is the provider's approval status current and re-evaluated at defined intervals? *
