Resource Suitability (Cl. 7.1.5.1)
- Have the resources needed to ensure valid and reliable monitoring and measurement results been determined? *
- Are the resources suitable for the specific type of monitoring and measurement activities being undertaken? *
- Are the resources maintained to ensure their continuing fitness for their purpose? *
- Is documented information retained as evidence of fitness for purpose of the resources? *
Measurement Traceability (Cl. 7.1.5.2)
- Where traceability is a requirement, is measuring equipment calibrated or verified at specified intervals? *
- Is equipment calibrated against measurement standards traceable to international or national standards? *
- Where no such standards exist, is the basis used for calibration or verification retained as documented information? *
Identification & Safeguarding
- Is measuring equipment identified to determine its calibration status? *
- Is equipment safeguarded from adjustments, damage, or deterioration that would invalidate calibration status and results? *
- Is calibration status readily determinable at the point of use (e.g., label, tag, or system record)? *
Fitness-for-Purpose Failure
- When equipment is found unfit for its intended purpose, is the validity of previous measurement results assessed? *
- Is appropriate action taken on the equipment and any affected product as necessary? *
- Equipment ID / asset number reviewed
