Suitability of Resources (Cl. 7.1.5.1)
- Are monitoring and measuring resources appropriate for the specific type of activity being undertaken? *
- Are resources maintained to ensure continuing fitness for their purpose? *
- Is documented information retained as evidence of fitness for purpose? *
Measurement Traceability (Cl. 7.1.5.2)
- Is measuring equipment calibrated or verified at defined intervals against traceable standards? *
- Where no traceable standard exists, is the basis used for calibration/verification retained as documented information? *
- Is equipment identified to determine its calibration status? *
- Is equipment safeguarded from adjustments, damage, or deterioration that would invalidate results? *
Instrument Record
- Instrument ID / asset number *
- Last calibration date *
- Calibration due date *
- Is the calibration certificate on file and traceable to a national/international standard? *
Out-of-Tolerance Handling
- When equipment is found unfit for purpose, is the validity of previous measurement results assessed? *
- Is appropriate action taken on affected equipment and product? *
- Photo of calibration label / status tag
