- Does the control plan cover all process operations from receiving through shipping? *
- Is the control plan part/family and revision level identified? *
Characteristic & Requirement Linkage
- Are product and process characteristics traceable to the PFMEA and design records? *
- Are special/significant characteristics flagged with the correct symbols? *
- Are specifications and tolerances listed for each characteristic? *
Controls & Measurement Methods
- Is an evaluation/measurement technique specified for each characteristic? *
- Are sample size and frequency defined for each control? *
- Is the control method (SPC, error-proofing, inspection, etc.) documented? *
- Are measurement systems referenced in the plan MSA-validated?
Reaction Plans & Maintenance
- Does each control have a defined reaction plan for nonconforming output? *
- Is the control plan reviewed and updated when the process, product, or measurement method changes? *
- Is the control plan approved by required functions (including customer where required)? *
