Eligibility and Approval
- Is the vessel eligible for UWILD under its classification society's rules and age/type criteria? *
- Is class approval obtained and a surveyor arranged to attend the underwater survey? *
- Is an approved diving or ROV contractor engaged with a documented method statement? *
- Is high-resolution CCTV/two-way communication provided so the surveyor can direct the examination? *
Hull and Appendage Examination
- Are the shell plating, welds, and coating condition examined and recorded? *
- Are the rudder, pintles, and rudder-bearing clearances measured where required? *
- Are the propeller, propeller-boss seal, and stern-tube seal examined for damage or leakage? *
- Are sea chests, gratings, and overboard openings inspected for blockage or damage? *
Cathodic Protection and Marine Growth
- Are sacrificial anodes or impressed-current anodes examined for depletion and condition? *
- Is the extent of marine growth and fouling assessed against cleaning criteria? *
- Enter the estimated remaining life of sacrificial anodes as a percentage.
Safety and Reporting
- Is the vessel's machinery/propeller immobilised and tagged out during diver operations? *
- Is a dive-safety plan, standby diver, and emergency procedure in place? *
- Is a report with video, still images, and measurements submitted for the class survey record? *
