- Is an International Certificate on the Inventory of Hazardous Materials (or EU statement of compliance) held? *
- Does the IHM cover structure, equipment, and quantities/locations of hazardous materials? *
IHM Maintenance
- Is the IHM kept up to date for new installations, modifications, and repairs? *
- Are Material Declarations and Supplier's Declarations of Conformity obtained for new supplies? *
- Is a designated person responsible for maintaining the IHM identified? *
Recycling Readiness (End of Life)
- Are IHM Parts II (operationally generated wastes) and III (stores) prepared prior to recycling? *
- Is the intended recycling facility authorized/on the EU list of approved facilities where applicable? *
- Is a Ship Recycling Plan prepared by the facility using ship-specific IHM information? *
- Is an International Ready for Recycling Certificate obtained before delivery to the facility? *
