Muster and Familiarisation
- Is the muster list posted and consistent with current crew emergency duties? *
- Have new crew received on-board safety familiarisation before or immediately after sailing? *
- Enter the date of the last general emergency muster. *
Abandon Ship and Fire Drills
- Has an abandon-ship drill been held within the required interval (monthly, and within 24h of leaving port if >25% crew changed)? *
- Has a fire drill been held within the required monthly interval? *
- Has each lifeboat been lowered with its assigned crew and manoeuvred in the water within 3 months? *
Specialised Drills
- Has an enclosed-space entry and rescue drill been held within the required 2-month interval? *
- Has a rescue-boat drill (launching and manoeuvring) been conducted at the required interval? *
- Have relevant additional drills (e.g., damage control, oil spill, security) been conducted per the SMS? *
Records and Review
- Are all drills recorded in the official log or SMS records with date and description? *
- Are shortcomings identified during drills documented and corrective action taken? *
