- Has the jurisdiction certified it will affirmatively further fair housing in its Consolidated Plan? *
- Is a current Analysis of Impediments (AI) or Assessment of Fair Housing on file? *
- Does the analysis address segregation, R/ECAPs, disparities in access to opportunity, and disproportionate housing needs? *
- Were community participation and consultation conducted in developing the analysis? *
Protected Classes & Non-Discrimination
- Do policies prohibit discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, and disability? *
- Are reasonable accommodation and reasonable modification procedures published for persons with disabilities? *
- Do new multifamily developments meet Fair Housing Act accessibility design/construction requirements? *
Goals, Actions & Monitoring
- Are fair housing goals with metrics and timelines identified to overcome impediments? *
- Are actions to address identified impediments incorporated into the Action Plan? *
- Is progress on fair housing goals reported in the CAPER? *
- Is a fair housing complaint referral process to HUD/FHEO in place? *
