Pre-Drill Readiness

  • Does the written emergency action plan define evacuation procedures and routes? *
  • Are exit routes unobstructed, unlocked in the direction of travel, and clearly marked? *
  • Are floor wardens/monitors assigned and briefed on their roles? *

Alarm & Evacuation

  • Did the alarm activate and was it audible/visible throughout all occupied areas? *
  • Did occupants evacuate promptly via the nearest safe exit route? *
  • Were mobility-impaired occupants assisted per the plan? *
  • Record the evacuation time from alarm to all-clear: *

Accountability

  • Did all personnel report to designated assembly areas? *
  • Was a headcount/roster reconciled and any missing person reported to responders? *
  • Were visitors and contractors accounted for? *

Evaluation & Follow-up

  • Was a post-drill debrief conducted to capture deficiencies? *
  • Are corrective actions assigned with owners and due dates? *
  • Is the drill documented with date, participants, and results? *
