Sign-In and Authorization
- Are all visitors and contractors required to sign in and out with time, purpose, and host recorded? *
- Are visitors escorted or supervised in production and storage areas? *
- Are contractors briefed on site food safety and food defense rules before entry?
Health and Hygiene Declaration
- Are visitors required to declare relevant illness or symptoms before entering production areas? *
- Are visitors informed of allergen restrictions and prohibited from bringing food or allergens into production? *
- Are visitors required to remove or secure jewelry and personal items per site policy? *
Personal Protective Equipment
- Are visitors provided with and required to wear appropriate protective clothing, hairnets, and footwear covers? *
- Are hand-washing and sanitizing requirements enforced before entry? *
- Is beard/facial hair coverage provided where required?
Records and Security
- Are visitor logs retained and reviewable as part of food defense records? *
- Is access to sensitive areas (e.g., liquid storage, chemical rooms) restricted from unescorted visitors? *
- Are visitor badges or identifiers issued and collected on exit?
