Carrier & Vehicle Condition
- Is the delivery vehicle inspected for cleanliness, odor, pests, and structural integrity before unloading? *
- Is the trailer seal intact and does the seal number match the shipping documentation? *
- Is refrigeration equipment operating for temperature-controlled loads? *
Temperature Verification
- Is product temperature checked on receipt for TCS/refrigerated and frozen items? *
- Recorded refrigerated product temperature (°F)
- Recorded frozen product temperature (°F)
- Is product outside acceptable temperature limits rejected and documented? *
Documentation & Traceability
- Are certificates of analysis, specifications, or required food safety documents present and reviewed? *
- Is the supplier an approved supplier on the current approved supplier list? *
- Are lot codes, quantities, and delivery details recorded for traceability? *
- Are allergen-containing materials identified and flagged on receipt? *
Physical Condition
- Is packaging intact, with no leaks, damage, infestation, or signs of tampering? *
- Are date codes / expiration dates within acceptable limits? *
- Is the product free of visible foreign material and off-odors? *
Disposition
- Is accepted product promptly moved to appropriate storage under required conditions? *
- Is rejected or nonconforming product tagged, segregated, and dispositioned? *
- Are receiving inspection records completed and signed? *
