Food Defense Plan & Team

Vulnerability Assessment

Mitigation Strategies

Management Components
- Is food defense monitoring conducted to ensure mitigation strategies are consistently performed? *
- Are corrective actions taken and documented when a mitigation strategy is not properly implemented? *
- Are verification activities performed to confirm monitoring and corrective actions are effective? *
- Have personnel and supervisors at actionable process steps received food defense awareness training? *
Records & Reanalysis
- Are food defense monitoring, corrective action, and verification records maintained? *
- Are records signed or initialed and dated by the person who performed the activity? *
- Is the food defense plan reanalyzed at least every three years or when a significant change occurs? *
