- Is the Sedex Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) complete and current for the site? *
- Are payroll, working-hour, and personnel records available for the required review period? *
- Have the pillars (2-Pillar or 4-Pillar) and audit scope been agreed with the auditor? *
Freely Chosen Employment & Child Labor
- Is there evidence that all employment is freely chosen with no forced or bonded labor? *
- Are age-verification records in place to prevent child labor? *
- Are recruitment-fee and worker-passport-retention practices compliant with the Employer Pays Principle? *
Wages, Hours & Freedom of Association
- Do wages meet at least the legal or industry minimum and are payslips provided? *
- Are working hours, overtime, and rest days compliant with local law and the Base Code? *
- Is freedom of association and collective bargaining respected? *
- Are workers free from discrimination, harassment, and harsh treatment? *
Health & Safety
- Is there a documented H&S risk assessment, policy, and responsible person? *
- Are fire safety, emergency exits, drills, and first aid provisions in place and evidenced? *
- Are PPE, chemical safety data sheets, and machine guarding provided where required? *
Environment & Business Ethics (4-Pillar)
- Are environmental permits, waste, and effluent controls in place (4-Pillar)? *
- Is there an anti-bribery and ethical business conduct policy (4-Pillar)? *
- Is a confidential worker grievance mechanism available and communicated? *
