Management Systems

  • Is there a documented RBA Code commitment and management accountability structure? *
  • Are legal, risk assessment, and improvement-objective processes in place? *
  • Is a supplier responsibility program communicating requirements down the chain? *

Labor

  • Is all labor freely chosen with no forced labor or recruitment-fee retention? *
  • Are workers 16+ or above local minimum working age, with young-worker controls? *
  • Are working hours limited (generally 60 hours/week incl. overtime) with one rest day in seven? *
  • Are wages, benefits, and non-discrimination requirements met? *

Health & Safety

  • Are occupational safety, emergency preparedness, and injury/illness controls documented? *
  • Are industrial hygiene, physically demanding work, and machine safeguarding managed? *
  • Are sanitation, food, housing, and health communication provisions adequate? *

Environmental

  • Are environmental permits and reporting current for all applicable operations? *
  • Are hazardous substances, wastewater, and air emissions identified and controlled? *
  • Is GHG and energy data tracked with reduction objectives? *

Ethics

  • Are anti-corruption, disclosure, and fair-business controls in place? *
  • Is a responsible sourcing of minerals (3TG) due diligence process implemented? *
  • Are whistleblower protection and non-retaliation mechanisms available? *
