Goal & Scope Definition
- Is the goal of the LCA, including intended application and reasons for the study, stated? *
- Has the functional unit been defined and is it consistent with the goal and scope? *
- Is the system boundary defined with cut-off criteria for inputs and outputs? *
- Are data quality requirements (time, geography, technology coverage) specified? *
Life Cycle Inventory Analysis
- Have data collection procedures and a process flow diagram been established? *
- Are calculation procedures documented for validation and consistency of data? *
- Have allocation procedures been applied following the ISO allocation hierarchy? *
- Is refinement of the system boundary based on sensitivity analysis performed? *
Life Cycle Impact Assessment
- Have impact categories, category indicators, and characterization models been selected? *
- Is classification (assignment of LCI results to impact categories) completed? *
- Are characterization factors applied to calculate category indicator results? *
- Are optional elements (normalization, grouping, weighting) documented if used? *
Interpretation & Critical Review
- Have significant issues been identified based on LCI and LCIA results? *
