Commit & Gather Data
- Has the site committed to water stewardship and legal compliance with a signed commitment? *
- Is the physical scope of the site and its catchment defined? *
- Has the site gathered water-related data on the catchment context and shared water challenges? *
- Have Important Water-Related Areas (IWRAs) in the catchment been identified? *
Water Balance & Quality
- Has the site quantified its water balance including withdrawals, consumption, and discharge? *
- Has the site assessed its water quality against relevant standards? *
- Have indirect water use in the supply chain and primary inputs been assessed? *
- Has the site evaluated water governance in the catchment? *
Plan & Implement
- Has the site developed a water stewardship plan with targets and actions to address shared challenges? *
- Are actions implemented to achieve good water governance and sustainable water balance? *
- Does the site engage in collective action to address catchment-level shared water challenges? *
- Are actions taken to maintain or improve IWRAs and water-related indigenous cultural values? *
Evaluate & Communicate
- Does the site evaluate its water stewardship performance against targets? *
- Does the site disclose water stewardship efforts and outcomes to stakeholders? *
- Are stakeholders notified of compliance breaches and emergency incidents? *
