Source Equipment
- Are medical gas source systems (bulk oxygen, manifolds, medical air compressors) maintained and inspected per schedule? *
- Is the medical air compressor system tested for dew point and carbon monoxide within limits? *
- Is the bulk oxygen supply secured, with required separation distances and signage? *
Alarms & Monitoring
- Are master alarm panels functioning at two locations continuously monitored by staff? *
- Are area (local) alarms provided for critical care and anesthetizing locations and tested? *
- Are alarm signals tested at least annually and documented? *
Zone Valves & Distribution
- Are shutoff/zone valves labeled with the gas served and the area/room controlled? *
- Are zone valves accessible and not obstructed for emergency shutoff? *
Outlets & Documentation
- Are station outlets/inlets tested for flow, gas-specific indexing, and leaks? *
- Is verification testing performed by a qualified party after any system alteration before patient use? *
- Are inspection, testing, and maintenance records retained and available for survey? *
