Substrate & Preparation
- Is the deck/substrate dry, clean, and structurally sound before application? *
- Are approved submittals and the manufacturer's warranty requirements on site? *
- Is cover board and insulation attached per the wind uplift design? *
- Are slope and positive drainage to drains/scuppers verified? *
Membrane / Covering Installation
- Are seams welded/adhered and probe-tested for continuity? *
- Are fastening patterns and adhesive rates within the approved uplift design? *
- For steep-slope, are underlayment and covering installed per the manufacturer and code? *
- Is the covering the class of fire rating required for the roof? *
Flashings & Penetrations
- Are base and counter flashings at walls, curbs, and parapets installed to height? *
- Are pipe boots, drains, and penetration flashings watertight? *
- Are expansion joints and terminations sealed per detail? *
- Is edge metal / coping secured to resist wind uplift (ANSI/SPRI ES-1)? *
Below-Grade & Testing
- Is below-grade waterproofing continuous with proper drainage board and protection? *
- Has a flood test or electronic leak detection been performed where specified? *
- Are core cuts or pull tests taken where required by the warranty? *
Closeout
- Is the manufacturer's warranty (NDL/labor+material) issued and registered? *
- Photo documentation of completed flashings and field conditions
- Inspector signature
