Records Review
- Are standard federal, state, tribal, and local environmental records reviewed? *
- Are historical use sources (aerials, Sanborn maps, directories, titles) reviewed? *
- Is the property's history reviewed back to first developed use or 1940? *
- Are adjoining property records and databases evaluated? *
Site Reconnaissance
- Was a site visit conducted to observe current conditions and uses? *
- Are hazardous substances or petroleum products storage/use observed? *

- Photos of observed environmental conditions
Interviews & Information

Findings & Opinions
- Are recognized environmental conditions (RECs) identified? *
- Are controlled RECs (CRECs) and historical RECs (HRECs) distinguished? *
- Are data gaps identified and their significance evaluated? *
- Is a recommendation made regarding further (Phase II) investigation? *

- Does the assessment satisfy the All Appropriate Inquiries rule? *
