Design & Requirements
- Are seismic bracing/anchorage calculations and details approved and on site? *
- Is the component importance factor (Ip) and exemption status correctly applied? *
- Is the seismic Design Category and required special inspection identified? *
- Are certificates of compliance provided for designated seismic systems? *
Piping & Ductwork Bracing
- Are transverse and longitudinal braces installed at the required spacing? *
- Is fire sprinkler pipe braced and sway-restrained per the standard? *
- Are brace attachments to structure of the approved type and capacity? *
- Is flexibility/clearance provided at seismic separations and equipment connections? *
Equipment & Component Anchorage
- Is equipment anchored with the specified anchors and embedment? *
- Are vibration-isolated components provided with seismic snubbers/restraints? *
- Are suspended components (light fixtures, ceilings) braced and safety-wired as required? *
- Are storage racks and tanks anchored per the design? *
Verification
- Do installed brace angles and locations match the approved layout? *
- Are post-installed anchors verified per their inspection requirements? *
- Are inspection records and nonconformances documented? *
