Means of Egress
- Are all exits, aisles, and corridors unobstructed and maintained? *
- Are exit signs illuminated and visible from the required paths of travel? *
- Is emergency egress lighting operational? *
- Do exit doors open freely with compliant hardware and no unauthorized locking? *
Fire Protection Systems
- Is the automatic sprinkler system in service with current inspection tags? *
- Is the fire alarm system functional and monitored? *
- Are fire department connections (FDC) accessible, capped, and identified? *
- Are standpipes and fire pumps tagged and in service where provided? *
Portable Extinguishers & Suppression
- Are portable fire extinguishers provided, mounted, and within travel distance? *
- Do extinguishers have current annual service tags? *
- Are kitchen hood suppression systems serviced and tagged? *
Hazards & Housekeeping
- Are hazardous materials stored, labeled, and quantities within control area limits? *
- Is electrical equipment free of hazards, with clear working space maintained? *
- Are combustible storage and rubbish controlled? *
- Is the occupant load posted where required for assembly spaces? *
Fire-Resistive & Access Features
- Are rated fire and smoke doors self-closing and unobstructed? *
- Are firestopping and rated assemblies maintained? *
- Is fire apparatus access road and hydrant access maintained? *
- Photo of any noted deficiency
- Inspector signature and disposition
