Substrate & Water-Resistive Barrier
- Is the sheathing sound, dry, and fastened per the manufacturer's requirements? *
- Is a water-resistive barrier installed continuously and lapped shingle-fashion? *
- Is a drainage/water-managed EIFS provided where required? *
- Are penetrations and transitions sealed to the WRB? *
Flashing & Terminations
- Are back-wrapped edges and terminations detailed at all openings? *
- Is through-wall and window/door flashing integrated with the WRB? *
- Are sealant joints provided at dissimilar materials and expansion joints? *
- Is minimum clearance to grade and horizontal surfaces maintained? *
Insulation & Lamina
- Is the insulation board type, thickness, and attachment per the listing? *
- Are board joints tight, staggered, and rasped flush? *
- Is reinforcing mesh fully embedded in the base coat with proper overlap? *
- Is the finish coat applied at the specified thickness and cure conditions? *
Air Barrier Continuity
- Is the air barrier material continuous across the assembly and detailed at transitions? *
- Are seams, laps, and fasteners sealed per the manufacturer? *
- Where required, has whole-building or assembly air leakage testing been performed? *
- Photo of WRB, flashing, and mesh embedment
