Deferred Submittal Identification
- Are all deferred submittal items listed on the approved construction documents? *
- Has the building official approved deferral of these items? *
- Is a submittal log maintained with status, dates, and responsible parties? *
- Are deferred items scheduled to avoid delaying dependent installations? *
Engineer/Architect of Record Review
- Has the registered design professional of record reviewed and approved each deferred submittal? *
- Does the submittal bear the seal and signature of the specialty/delegated engineer where required? *
- Is a review stamp (approved / approved as noted / revise & resubmit) applied and dated? *
- Are the submittals forwarded to the building official with a statement of conformance? *
Shop Drawing Conformance
- Do shop drawings conform to the design intent of the contract documents? *
- Are dimensions, member sizes, and grades consistent with the structural drawings? *
- Are connection details and weld/bolt callouts complete and code-compliant? *
- Are field-verified dimensions incorporated where noted? *
Coordination
- Are shop drawings coordinated across trades (structural, MEP, architectural)? *
- Are penetrations, embeds, and openings coordinated and located? *
- Are RFIs generated for conflicts or missing information? *
Records
- Are approved submittals retained on site and available for inspection? *
- Is the reviewer, review date, and revision number recorded for each item? *
- Reviewer signature
